I work with art because it gives me a diverse and abstracted language that allows me to express myself and join contemporary discussions. I believe art has an important communicative role in a world that seems increasingly preoccupied with counting and measuring and fitting our lives to algorithms of apparent perfection.

I am interested in time-based media and the concept of temporality, particularly where temporality coincides with concepts of identity and how we manage quality in our lives. In my artistic practice I work with painting, prints and moving images, the outcome is often mixed media. In my visual language, I explore different processes, techniques, devices, and materials that collapse space-time and impact materiality.
