Ever since the 1970s, Jacek Byczewski has been working with steel, a material that in those days was considered unusual for jewellery. He combines sandblasted steel with gold and stones such as sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds, among others. His unique works are handmade with the utmost precision. They seem to be inspired by nature: twigs, branches, flowers, but at the same time some pieces also reveal an architectural approach.
