Ewa Rudowska was educated as a photographer and spent 12 years at the Warsaw Royal Castle doing documentary photography. But eventually she decided to choose the light of day and nature. She began to use leaves, grass, bark and branches of trees as the basis of her work to create decorative fabrics, sculptures and unique jewellery. Ewa creates necklaces, rings and bracelets, as well as unique collector pieces of art, such as grass vessels or hats made of leaves. One of her necklaces won the prestigious Gold Virtuosi competition, organized by the World Gold Council in Vicenza, Italy – this award is often referred to as the Jeweller’s Oscar. In an age of standardization and technology lines, her work stands out for its unique method of production, as well as because of her curiosity and fascination with the simple things. She has taken part in numerous exhibitions around the world, including Germany, Italy, USA, France, United Kingdom, Poland.
